Shimano has developed the Convergence line of canes for casting and light casting using quality components, and rod bodies with a versatile action, so as to meet the needs of fishermen who target multiple species. The new Convergence series offers rods that “do it all and go everywhere” with a lightweight carbon rod body with greater responsiveness, along with a Fuji reel holder offering lasting comfort that will last all day, and with better sensitivity that will allow them to detect the lightest touches. The Convergence range of rods includes specific models for particular techniques, as well as two- or four-strand rods for greater versatility. The four-strand travel rods come with a travel tube for better protection when fishermen are on the go and pursue their passions away from home.
