This system also allows shooters to quickly adjust leg height from their shooting position, and a twist of the locking mechanism keeps the bipod locked into place.

Despite these changes, the Harris BR Bipod features the same classic S-Series base, allowing the gun to rock from side to side, as well as a 1A2 stationary base. The feet are capped with rubber, and the height is adjustable from 6 to 9 inches.
